Orders & Purchases

Browse through a wide range of items available on lafoire.mu. Select the item(s) you liked and click on ‘Add to Cart’ button. You can checkout directly or view all the items in the cart. You can also see the full product specifications before adding to cart. Once you are ready, proceed to checkout and fill in the order form. Choose your preferred payment method and click on ‘Place order’ button. That’s it. Your order has been successfully placed!

If you want to have information about your order, you can use our ‘Track Order’ function. Simply find the ‘Track order’ link on the right-hand top corner on the navigation bar. Enter the Order ID you received by email after you had completed your order. Also, fill in the email address you used to place the order. Click on the ‘Track’ button to find all information about your order.

The process of cancelling an order is simple. You can cancel your order by calling our Help Centre on 54 54 31 64 or on 55 07 27 07 before the order is shipped. Please note that once the order has been shipped, we do not proceed with cancellation of orders. 

Lafoire.mu will confirm your order by sending you an email with detailed information about your order. You will also received an Order ID. We strongly advise you to keep your Order ID secret until delivery. When calling our Help Centre, we will use the Order ID as reference, please keep it handy!

Account

As a regular buyer on lafoire.mu, you can create an account to make purchases easier. We will store basic information like your name, address, telephone number. Please note that we do not store any sensitive information like your bank account number or credit/debit card number. 
You can log in anytime using your credentials and make your purchases.
You can also checkout as guest, that is, without registering on lafoire.mu.

As as supplier on lafoire.mu, it is compulsory to create an account to be able to sell on the platform. We encourage suppliers to register with information regarding their businesses so that we can protect our buyers. We believe firmly in a safe shopping environment. Account setting varies for buyers and suppliers. Basically, buyers can modify the information on their account anytime they wish. 
However, for suppliers, we advise you to notify us, either by email or a phone call, whenever you make any change about your account.

For both buyers and suppliers, we provide a section for password. You can use this section to make changes to your passwords or if you have forgotten it. Please make sure you keep your password safe to avoid any misuse of your account. 
Lafoire.mu will not held responsible in case your password is leaked by negligence.

Returns & Refunds

Unfortunately, we only accept returns under the condition that the item is damaged, faulty or the item does not match the specification displayed on the website. Once order has been placed and payment has been done, we do not proceed to refund or exchange unless the above conditions are met. 

Our team will make sure that you verify the item(s) during the delivery process. If you notice any anomalies with the item(s) ordered, please notify our delivery team and send us a message on 54 54 31 64/55 07 27 07 or an email at helpcenter@lafoire.mu immediately. Our team will contact you to proceed with an exchange or a refund, depending on what you choose.
For Standard Shipping, you will need to ship the item back to us via local post office. Please note that we will refund the shipping amount in the refund process.

If you think you have wrongly placed an order, please call us on 54 54 31 64 or on 55 07 27 07 within 6 hours of the order. Our team will make sure the order is not released for shipping. If the cancellation is delayed, lafoire.mu will not accept any cancellation request and will proceed with delivery of the item(s) ordered. 

Sometimes it may happen that we need to proceed with a refund depending on the circumstances. For example, you have received a faulty item and you wish to be refunded. You can choose to be refunded or get a coupon for your next purchase.
If you choose a refund, we normally do so by bank transfers. So, our team will send you an email requesting your names and bank account number for the refund. 
Please note that the refund make take up to 5 business days. 

Shipping & Tracking

We understand that express shipping does not make sense for small items. So, we have implemented the standard free shipping option. The standard free shipping is done via the local post office. It is a free shipping where our suppliers will ship your item(s) via the local post. 

Express shipping is our exclusive offer. We provide express paid shipping for medium and large sized items. The shipping fee is negligible will vary depending on the item(s) purchased. Our delivery team will deliver your item(s) at your doorstep within 48 hours. Next day shipping is also available, but it depends on the time of order and the delivery address. The shipping fee will vary from item to item. Sometimes we provide standard shipping on some range of items while for some items we have no other choice than to provide express shipping. You can easily find the shipping option in the product page and at checkout. Feel free to contact us if you need further information regarding shipping.

Payment Methods

Amongst the different mode of payments available, the easiest and most popular one is MCB Juice. Upon checkout, you can choose MCB Juice and make your payment.

You can also choose to pay by bank transfer or Internet banking. Please find below our bank details for payment:

Online credit/debit card payment is hassle free. We offer secured online payment for all your purchases. You can choose this payment method during checkout.

Our hire purchase option makes it easy for you. We offer hire purchase payment through CIM. Please note that delivery may be delayed if hire purchase payment is selected. Our team will have to wait for approval from CIM to be able to release delivery. 
We also wish to inform our buyers that hire purchase is only available to existing customers of CIM. Unfortunately, new customers will not be able to make purchases by hire purchase.

Vendors

Selling on lafoire.mu is easy. Please find a link to register on top right-hand corner as ‘Sell on lafoire.mu’. Register as a supplier and fill in the forms. Our team will then email you with a contract stating the Terms & Conditions, which needs to be signed by you and sent back via email. After thorough examination of your profile, our team will approve your profile and you can start selling your products. Please note that for each item posted on lafoire.mu, our team will examine the listing and then approves it. This process usually take less than 24 hours.

Each supplier will have an account on lafoire.mu. The account of a supplier will differ from that of a buyer. Supplier will have access to supplier’s dashboard. Note that one supplier cannot access the dashboard of another supplier. Supplier can manage products, staff, price, promotions, etc. from his/her dashboard. Lafoire.mu team will provide online training of how to use the platform for sales.

Lafoire.mu does not charge a subscription fee for suppliers to register on the website. However, we charge a small commission on every sale made through our platform. More information about the commission rate will be communicated in the contract. In case you need information regarding the commission rate before registering, please contact our Help Center on 54 54 31 64 or on 55 07 27 07. We will release payment of every supplier upon request of withdrawal which can be managed by the supplier on his/her dashboard. Ideally, we release payment on an agreed number of days post delivery of the item(s).

Depending on the item(s) purchased by the buyer, you will either need to ship via local post office or by express shipping. Our team will contact you in case express shipping is involved. The delivery team will collect the item(s) from you and deliver at the doorstep of the customer.
